How does Ellansé work?
Ellansé is designed to correct wrinkles and other facial aging signs at a sub-dermal level . It is injected into the deeper layers of the skin by your CJA Aesthetics specialist in order to stimulate your own collagen production and naturally regenerate your face's volume and restores the shape which has been lost over time. The natural increase in collagen production following an Ellansé treatment is key to the long term benefits and results that can be achieved.
Which areas of the body can Ellansé Fillers be used on?
It can be used to improve the appearance of the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
What is the difference between Ellansé and Hyaluronic Acid Fillers?
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the skin and its production reduces with age. Hyaluronic acid fillers are injected to generate volume, and to fill fine lines and wrinkles., but this tends to be a temporary option, typically lasting from 6 to 18 months. By contrast, Ellansé offers both immediate improvements in volume and facial contouring, including correction of wrinkles and it also stimulates and regenerates the skin's natural collagen production to offer long lasting results.
Is Ellansé a safe treatment?
Ellansé is CE approved (approved health and safety profile for use across the EU) and has an excellent safety record in use. At CJA Aesthetics all our practitioners are fully trained doctors, with the skills and experience needed to administer Ellansé correctly. At an initial consultation we will discuss the treatment with you and give you full details on what you can expect and you can rest assured that at CJA Aesthetics, your safety is our top priority.
How long does an ELLANSÉ® treatment take?
A treatment takes around 30 minutes and there's no down time afterwards - meaning you can have a treatment during your lunch hour.
How long will the results last?
You can expect immediate natural looking results, that last will last from 1 to 4 years (depending on the type of treatment used). We will discuss this with you at your initial consultation. Multiple appointments and follow up sessions will not be required.
How many sessions are generally needed?
With ELLANSÉ®, only one session is needed to obtain immediate and long lasting results. This makes ELLANSÉ® a cost effective anti-aging treatment which represents excellent value for money.
What after care is required?
We recommend that you avoid hot baths and vigorous exercise for 24 hours after your treatment. You should also avoid over-exposure to the sun and UV light for 1 week after treatment.
Are there any side effects to an ELLANSÉ® treatment?
As with any injection there may be side effects such as localised redness, swelling and bruising. We will give you full after care advice during your appointment.
