Hyperpigmentation

Treatments for Age Spots & Sun Damaged Skin at some of the Best Aesthetics Clinics in Hampshire

age spot removal, top aesthetics clinics in southampton, portsmouth, winchester & basingstokeYour face, hands and decolletage are very often the first to show signs of ageing. Perhaps your skin has lost its radiance and has become pigmented with darker areas, also known as age spots.

Also known as hyperpigmentation, these dark areas on the skin are caused by an excess production of melanin.  As well as becoming more obvious with age, these so-called age spots can also appear on acne-scarred skin, or skin that has seen too much sun.  Pigmentation can also occur as a side effect of various medical conditions.

The good news is that we have a number of effective treatments which can lighten all types of skin pigmentation.

Skin Blemish Treatments at CJA Aesthetics Salons across Hampshire

Your first step towards clearer, brighter skin is to book in for a no-obligation skin consultation with one of our highly qualified skin specialists.  We have a number of treatment options available and will choose the best solution for you.  Treatments may include one or more of the following:

Microneedling:  An advanced microneedling treatment can be effective in delivering smoother, brighter skin.  Tiny micro-needles gently perforate and stimulate the skin so it can regenerate and repair itself naturally. New collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced to give you smoother skin.

SkinCeuticals Products: By assessing your skin's needs your CJA Aesthetics doctor can prescribe a tailored programme of treatments to give you clearer, brighter skin. We offer a wide range of SkinCeuticals products on our online shop, some of which are designed to treat hyperpigmentation - such as SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector.

SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.3Retinol is a synthetic derivative of Vitamin A which is now common in skin care products around the world. While traditional exfoliators only work by scrubbing away the top layers of the skin, retinol works at a deeper level. It prompts skin surface cells to increase turn-over and die more quickly, in order to make way for new cell growth underneath, allowing new, fresh skin to come to the surface.

Chemical Peels: Using the chemical peel, EnerPeel, we can deliver active ingredients deep into the skin to help reduce discolouration caused by hyperpigmentation, acne scars, age spots and sun damage.

CO2 Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing: This advanced laser treatment targets selected areas of the skin's surface such as those areas that suffer from discolouration. The laser penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate the body's natural production of collagen to tackle uneven areas of hyperpigmentation.

CO2 Laser Cool Peel: Similarly to the CO2 Fractional Laser, the CO2 Laser Cool Peel only targets specific areas of the skin. The difference between these two treatments is that the CO2 Laser Peel treatment focuses on the superficial layer of skin, which reduces risks and downtime.

Demalux LED Light Therapy: It has been clinically proven that controlled levels of Red, Blue and Near Infrared light hold benefits for the skin. Through LED Phototherapy we apply these beneficial wave lengths into the skin's deepest layers to help transform your skin.
